She creates a variety of acrylic paintings, digital artwork, and beadwork with hand painted centers. Her art style is a more modern twist on traditional Anishinaabe art with a focus on certain elements such as florals, animals, and nature. Marissa aims to bring joy to those who see her work, but also to find happiness herself through the creative process.
