Features the Inuit "Tattoo" design. This design of Dino's is based on the neck line of traditional Nunavut parka.
Dino Bruce was born in Coral Harbour, Nunavut. Inu-vations is a family run business that aims to bring the tradition and knowledge of Nunavut to a wider audience.
Eastern arctic style uluit (the plural of ulu) are traditional Inuit knives designed to represent the tale of a whale. This curved design is also extremely useful for the main original purpose of skinning animals after hunting. Uluit are also used for other diverse purposes such as cutting hair, chiseling ice or snow, and cutting food. It is said that the knowledge of the ancestor that used the knife would be contained within it, making it stronger, therefore the Uluit were handed down through generations to preserve and strengthen this knowledge.
