  • This design represents the connection between humans and animals. The Raven is an important creature to Yukon First Nations. Raven is the creator, the bringer of light but he is also a trickster.
  • Eugene Alfred is a artist/carver of Northern Tutchone and Tlingit ancestry, and belongs to the Crow Clan of Selkirk First Nation, located in Pelly Crossing, Yukon.
