  • All our Inuit sculptures are carved from a single piece of stone, locally sourced from the carvers community, most commonly Serpentine or Argillite. These stones are carvable but are significantly harder than soapstone.
  • Transformations, or transfigurations are depictions of ancient stories of Shaman and their magical abilities to transform from one thing to another. Shamanic healers, believed to be neither human nor animal can exist in all realms and therefore connect all living things. Transformations are often depicted as multiple creatures combined.
