Erinn Komschlies
Erinn Komschlies is a landscape artist living in Whitehorse. She draws her artistic inspiration from happy memories of time spent outdoors. Born and raised in Wisconsin, those memories include camping in lush green forests, hearing loon calls on northern lakes, and exploring the rocky shores of Lake Superior. She moved to the Yukon in 2019 and is constantly inspired to paint the surrounding untouched wilderness, mountains, wildflowers, and stunningly blue lakes. She can often be found hiking the local trails with her camera, taking reference photos to bring back to her studio. Painting with a colorful realistic style, her goal is to bring the peace and beauty of nature into the home. In all of her work, she aims to capture the personal memories and emotions tied to a particular place and to share the glory of the north with the world. Erinn's work can be found in private collections throughout the United States and Canada.
