Larch Wood Enterprises was established in 2003 in the community of Margaree, located on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. Since then they have been dedicated to making cutting boards the right way, using the end grain of the best possible local wood. This process is time consuming and demanding. But the pay off is a cutting board that you will be able to hand down to your kids, decades of work and a little care will leave these boards looking better than ever.
Our trees are locally harvested in a sustainable manner with many trees supplied by small woodlot owners. We pay the woodland owners more than market value for their logs to promote a healthy holistic business. We believe in doing things the the best way we can right from the first cut.
